ESEF 2012

Tuesday the 13th of March until Friday the 16th of march, Elcee Holland B.V. was on the ESEF Exhibitions at the Jaarbeurs Utrecht. On this exhibition they, among others, tested the BarTrack Scanner and the ESBS bearing has been nominated for the MADE IN HOLLAND award. In 2014 Elcee will be present again at the ESEF 2014. MADE IN HOLLAND award The business unit 'Plain bearings' has developed an entirely new steel bearing. The innovative aspect of this bearing is that it is fully lubricant and maintenance free. Also, the housing is axially split, resulting in less pressure on the bolts. Because it is such an innovative design, it has been nominated for the MADE IN HOLLAND award. It is a spherical bearing, fully made of 316 stainless steel components, and a composite interlayer. The bearing is auto-ranging, by a composite wear layer the bearing is lubricant-and maintenance-free. This bearing is used in very heavily loaded joints such as locks, bridges and cranes. In the offshore world this is also a known bearing and is used for example Stingers. Stingers are used for pipelay vessels. It can make pivoting, oscillating or rotating movements. During the development we have sought to a bearing system with high static and dynamic load capacity, for applications which until recently only oil or grease lubricated bearings could be applied. Bartrack Scanner The department 'Fasteners' is in possession of a BarTrack scanner. BarTrack is a small, wireless barcode scanner which leads you directly to the ordering system of Elcee. With this device you can easily scan barcodes and place your order. Together with the scanner you create your own electronic shopping list.
